Library books may be checked out and taken home for a one-week period. After one week, the book(s) may be renewed for another one-week period. Students may check out books as follows:
Kindergarten: 1 book
Grades 1-5: 2 books
The Media Center operates on a semi-flexible schedule.
Students are not limited to these times in the Media Center, but may return books and check out new ones as they finish reading them. Students in Grades K-5 come to the Media Center in small or whole groups for check out and to research work as scheduled by their teachers.
Books which are not returned after two weeks are considered overdue.
If a student has an overdue book, he/she may not check out another book until the overdue book is returned.
Lost or Damaged Books
Students are encouraged to be responsible in caring for books; however, if a book is lost or damaged to the point where it cannot be circulated, parents are notified of the cost of the book.
When payment is made for a lost or damaged book, the student may again check out books from the Media Center.
Should the book be found within 3 months from the due date, it may be returned to the Media Center and the payment will be refunded.

Come together in one giant ORANGE message of hope and support, WEAR AND SHARE ORANGE to color our nation, and even the world, visibly showing that our society believes that no child should ever experience bullying.
PM Kindergarten and Grades 1-5 Costume Parade~1:45pm
PM Kindergarten/ Grades 1-5 Parties~2:15pm-3:15pm
Costumes: Kindergarten students may wear their costumes to school. All other students are to bring a costume that can be easily worn over their school clothing. We strongly recommend appropriate masks be worn during the parade and removed when the classroom celebrations begin. Make-up is not allowed due to time constraints. Toy guns, knives, and any other costume accessories that promote violence are to be left at home.
Parade: Parents who wish to watch the parade may line up outside along the front sidewalk. If it should rain, the parade will be canceled.
Party: Due to food allergies, along with following our Health & Wellness Policy, No food donations will be accepted into the building. All classrooms will be receiving the same snack and drink. If you send in snacks, please know they will be returned home with your child. You are always welcome to send in non-edible items in goodie bags as you do for birthday celebrations.
