Flags will fly at half-staff until sunset on January 28, 2025 in honor of former President Jimmy Carter, who passed away Sunday. Flags were already at half-staff to honor Illinois State Police Trooper Clay Carns, who died in the line of duty on December 23. Flags are lowered for 30 days from the death of a President or former President.

What a wonderful performance by our first graders last night! A HUGE shout out to our fantastic music teacher Mr K, our entire first grade team, our custodial team and finally our amazing parents! We had a great turn out, the students sounded awesome and great fun was had by all!

Our students were incredibly lucky to have author DJ Corchin visit us today! His discussions about being an author and illustrator, and about the importance of SEL topics, was very impactful to our students. He tailored his presentation to K/1, 2/3 and 4/5 and each was perfect for that age group.

We celebrate District 202's 1,147 Educational Support staff members as part of American Education Week! Our district runs more smoothly with the help of these dedicated staff members. Thank YOU! #202proud
